In March Grandma and Pop Pop came to visit. Stupidly enough, I got no pictures of them and the girls. duh!
Grandma got this pic of Reagan and Pop Pop. Reagan was insisting on him kissing her on the forehead. She always gets her way.
We went to the zoo and tried out their new children's zoo. We went to several egg hunts while they were here also. The first being the Mustang egg hunt. (Yes, yes, we actually live in Oklahoma City, use the Yukon post office, but go to Mustang schools. It's weird.) It was a blustery day (even for Oklahoma), but we braved it and went anyway. Nicely enough, they set it up to have separate egg hunts for each age group. This would have been a good photo if I had realized that Chris was in the shot instead of cutting his head off. We are waiting for Madigan's egg hunt to start.

Madigan and I scoped out all the good looking stuff out on the field before the hunt started. I figured she would just run out there and start grabbing eggs. Nope. She ran out there to the middle of the field and starting looking for the "big" stuff. After the "big" stuff was gone, she started grabbing eggs. She got quite a haul as shown by the picture below.

Reagan had her egg hunt about 30 minutes later. For some reason, she would not pick up any of the eggs closest to us. She had to run all the way across the field to the other side. She is so funny as she would pick up an egg, shake to make sure there was something in it, and then put it in her basket. If it didn't seem like there was anything in it, she would just throw it back down on the ground. Here she is in action.

On Easter morning, the girls got baskets from the Easter Bunny and Grandma and Pop Pop (the purple wrapped ones). So much excitement!!

Really big chocolate bunny!

Reagan loves hats!

We all got dressed up for church. And here's the girls in their new Easter dresses. The cardigans had to be added since it was a little chilly and all they seem to make in dresses these days are sleeveless.
Trying to get a good pic...

So we went outside...

Let's smell the flowers.

We went on to church and they had an egg hunt there. (phew, I was getting egg hunted out!)
Here's Madigan searching.

And Reagan doing her best.

Madigan had more soccer games where I captured this action photo. Look at her go!!!

Her team name was TNT. They are saying "TNT!!!"

She is making sure everyone's hand got shaken. It's cute.

On May 7th, our little baby turned 2 years old! It's hard to believe. She had the traditional pancake for breakfast with a candle in it, opened a couple of presents, went to Madigan's school to pass out M&M cookies to celebrate, and then we met Bamma at Chick-fil-a for lunch. Reagan likes to say, "I go Chick-fil-a?" It's much cuter when it comes out of her mouth.
My mom used to always decorate the table and stuff for our birthday breakfast, so of course I do that. Here it is and Reagan marveling at it saying, "Bahyoons". That's how she says balloons.

Just opened her present from 'sissy'.

She's sitting with Madigan's class and singing songs. It was so funny how she just went and sat down like she was supposed to.

Here she is trying to escape from the Chick-fil-a playground.

Later on that day, she opened presents from Grandma and Pop Pop; Aunt Sheri, Brooke, Richie, and Jamie; and Bamma. I had also made her little cupcake in ice cream cones, which she most certainly enjoyed.
This is her opening her bee necklace from Grandma and Pop Pop.

Here's that cupcake ice cream cone. Before this, I think she opened like 2 presents and then the rest of the time said, "I want cupcake! I want cupcake!!!"

Chris had to be out of town on business on her birthday, which was on a Friday. So we waited a week and a day to have her birthday party in order for him to celebrate with us. The regular players were there: Bamma, Uncle Kord, and Uncle Billy (Aunt Linda was in Colorado for a wedding). Reagan was so excited when they walked thru the door...maybe because they were holding presents, but we'll give her the benefit of the doubt. I made her my first Italian Cream Cake for the cake, which she seemed to like. Who doesn't like cream cheese icing!?
Here's the birthday girl and her Bamma

Bamma gave her this step stool that she loves.

Uncle Kord gave her "Finding Nemo" because strangely enough we didn't have it in our vast DVD library.

Here's Uncle Kord opening the baby and stroller combo he got her. The girls are waiting patiently for him to put it together so they can promptly begin fighting over it (as a matter of fact they are fighting over it as I type this).

And here's her birthday cake. That candle in the middle is a "2". Madigan insisted we get it for the cake.

There is really nothing to say about this photo other than Reagan put this outfit together herself. I think it speaks for itself.

I took this picture from my phone on a visit to Walmart one day. It's amazing the joy that 50 cents can bring to a child. They were saying, "Yeeeeeeha! Giddy up horsie!"
The Mustang Youth Soccer Association has a spring blow out for the kids where they go and have hot dogs and get their trophies for participating. Here she is waiting to pick her big time trophy up. Her and her pretty little face...

And here's her "CHEESE!!"

Here I am helping Madigan pick up her trophy.

And she's so proud of her trophy!

And Today (May 25), Madigan had her last day of Pre-K. She was not upset in the least bit (unlike her mommy). Her teachers allowed us to come to school that day and take pictures and participate. While I was signing in at the office, the principal informed me that her class will be graduating from high school in 2023. Wooowee. Sounds so far off, but I know it'll be here tomorrow! So for their last day of the year festivities, they went outside and blew bubbles

and had ice cream sundaes.

A HUGE thank you to her teacher Mrs. Parsons, who really created a wonderful foundation for Madigan's schooling. We will be requesting her in 2 years when it's time for Reagan to go to Pre-K.

And another thank you to Mrs. Penny, Mrs. Parsons' assistant. Madigan thought she was great.

And to start a new tradition, Chris and I took the girls to McDonald's to celebrate the last day of school which, of course, marks the start of summer vacation. Woohoo!!!

So that's what we have for now. We haven't realy made any big plans for the summer, so who knows what could happen. I do know there are swim lessons in these kids near futures and all of Chris' family (Mom, Dad, Sheri, Brooke, Richie, and Jamie) will be in town in August during Madigan's birthday. So I'm sure there will be some excitement to report soon. Here's hoping all of you have a happy summer!!!

Sounds like the Glenns have had a busy few months! The pics of the girls are just adorable...love Maddie's soccer action shot, she looks like quite the pro. And the pic of Reagan in the outfit she picked out herself is so funny! Didn't realize hr hair was so curly. Hope you all are enjoying ur first few days of summer vacation. Love ya!
